Product details

Build a Christmas world with room for your own ideas. Winter Market Atelier is a complete, standalone Quesbo collection for teenage makers and adults who enjoy detailed model-making. Create an atmospheric wooden market, paint a set of layered keepsakes for the tree, and finish your journals, gift wrap and project pages with a coordinated collection of original stickers.

Digital download only. You receive templates, printable artwork and instructions in a ZIP archive. No wooden pieces, printed stickers, tools, equipment or finished models are supplied.

A more elaborate market to make your own

Eight themed stalls bring the scene together: Winter Bakery, Cocoa, Gingerbread, Toymakers, Candle Studio, Paper Stars, Festive Florist and Gift Atelier. Their pitched roofs, engraved details and separate decorative pieces reward careful preparation and finishing. A modular clocktower, music pavilion and entrance gate create landmarks around which to arrange the market.

  • 32 assembled scene elements: eight stalls, one clocktower, one music pavilion, one entrance gate, three trees, two benches, four fence sections, four lantern silhouettes, four villagers, two directional signs and two present displays.
  • Two wood versions: nominal 3 mm and 4 mm, with five prepared slot-fit options for each thickness and a matching calibration coupon.
  • SVG and DXF templates: individual small-bed files plus optional larger-bed batch layouts, with separate engraving, scoring and cutting operations.
  • Detailed making guidance: illustrated assembly sequences, part identification, material and fit checks, painting ideas, troubleshooting and a browsable file index.

Wooden ornaments for the tree

Make 12 different three-layer designs, each with a single-layer alternative: Winter Village Globe, Alpine Chalet, Fox in the Fir Forest, Woodland Stag, Botanical Star, Nordic Star, Cocoa & Marshmallow, Fair Isle Mitten, Winter Bell, Rocking Horse, Festive Train and Moonlit Owl.

The layered collection uses 36 wooden pieces; the 12 flat alternatives are separate choices. Glue the matching back, middle and front layers, then add your own suitable hanging cord through the aligned holes. Keep the natural wood visible or develop a palette of forest green, cranberry, cream and gold. These thickness-independent ornament outlines can be cut from suitable 3 mm or 4 mm wood.

36 original printable stickers

The matching sticker collection includes market stalls, winter wildlife, cosy accessories, festive treats, ornaments and journal labels. It contains individual full-colour SVG artwork, transparent 300 dpi PNGs, separate SVG cut contours, and A4 and US Letter print sheets.

Print, then cut with scissors or a compatible blade cutter. Add the registration marks required by your own cutter software and calibrate its print-and-cut alignment; the supplied sheets are not a universal automatic registration system. Do not laser-cut ordinary adhesive sticker stock, vinyl, PVC, unknown films, laminates or their backing. The xTool F2 does not provide the printing or blade-cutting part of this project.

Choose the right workflow

This is an intermediate-to-advanced, multi-session model-making project. The creative work is designed for teens, suggested age 14+, and adults. Teens can plan the layout, choose colours, decorate prepared parts and assemble the scene with suitable guidance. Laser fabrication must be carried out separately by an appropriately trained adult/professional in accordance with the machine's current safety instructions and controlled-area requirements.

The wooden individual-part files use 108 × 108 mm canvases, designed with the xTool F2's 115 × 115 mm standard working area in mind. Check the actual cut envelope, positioning, clamps and framing before every job. Larger 280 × 280 mm batch layouts need a machine with sufficient usable space. Never shrink the wooden templates to fit a smaller bed: doing so changes the joints.

Each assembled stall has a 100 × 84 mm footprint and stands approximately 96 mm high in the 3 mm version or 98 mm in the 4 mm version. The clocktower stands approximately 156 mm or 159 mm high respectively. Arrange the separate buildings and scenery to suit your display space. The complete market uses 163 wooden parts, excluding calibration pieces and the separate ornament projects.

You need suitable plywood, compatible laser equipment and extraction, vector-import software, wood adhesive, finishing materials and appropriate tools. The sticker project also needs a printer, compatible paper sticker stock and scissors or a blade cutter. SVG is the primary laser format; DXF is supplied as an alternative. The pack does not include a native XCS project or universal power, speed or pass settings. This is an independent Quesbo design, not an xTool product or endorsement.

Before making the full collection

Measure your actual wood thickness, confirm that imports remain at 1:1 millimetre scale, and make a material test and fit coupon. Select one matching thickness and slot option, then make a trial stall and one ornament before cutting the remaining designs. The alternate thicknesses, fits and file formats are choices, not additional objects to cut.

The designs are digitally checked; a physical test cut and completed prototype have not been made. The pack therefore includes no physically tested-fit guarantee or toy-safety certification. Product images are faithful digital design previews, and painted finishes are suggestions. The assembled market is a decorative model for careful handling; clock faces, lanterns and candles depicted in the artwork are non-working decoration. Keep wooden decorations away from flames and heat.
