Product details
Build a little Christmas world, one beautifully engraved stall at a time. Little Winter Market is an original Quesbo digital template collection for adults to cut and assemble in wood, then decorate and explore together as a family.
Create a gingerbread stall, hot-cocoa stop, toy shop, gift stall, bakery and craft stall, then arrange them around a Christmas tree and a welcoming market entrance. Matching benches, lantern silhouettes and bundled-up villagers bring the scene to life.
Digital download only: you receive design files and instructions. No wooden pieces, laser machine, paint, glue or finished market are supplied.
A complete coordinated market
- Six three-dimensional stalls with engraved shop fronts, counters, side and back walls, bases and canopies.
- One entrance arch to welcome visitors to the market.
- Three trees: a central Christmas tree and two smaller trees.
- Two benches, two lantern-post silhouettes and four villagers with matching wooden supports.
- Two separate material versions: nominal 3 mm and 4 mm plywood, with thickness-dependent joints redrawn for each version.
- SVG and DXF vector files, organised cut layouts, individual-part files, a fit-test coupon and an illustrated assembly guide.
- Five slot-fit choices per material thickness, matched to the test coupon so you can select a prepared file set.
Made for a thoughtful making session
The shared stall construction makes it easier to learn the build once and repeat it across the market. Each chalet-shaped front stands in front of a flat canopy; no bevelled roof joints are needed. Glue secures the completed structures. Leave the wood natural, add cranberry and forest-green paint, or choose your own festive palette.
Adults operate the laser, prepare the wood and complete structural assembly. Older children can help plan the scene and decorate prepared pieces with suitable materials under adult supervision. The finished scene is intended for gentle supervised use, not rough play.
Before you buy
The complete scene uses 70 wooden parts to make 18 scene elements. Each material version is arranged on 11 production sheets of 280 × 280 mm, plus a separate calibration sheet. Buy extra material for test cuts and possible recuts. Choose one material thickness and one matching fit option; the alternate file sets are not additional objects to cut.
Each assembled stall measures approximately 140 mm wide × 106 mm deep, with a total height of 127 mm in the nominal 3 mm version or 128 mm in the nominal 4 mm version. Arrange the separate buildings and scenery to suit your table or display space.
- You need a laser capable of cutting your chosen laser-suitable plywood, suitable extraction, a computer and compatible vector-import software.
- SVG and DXF are intended for import into xTool Studio / xTool Creative Space and other compatible laser software. This is an independent Quesbo design, not an xTool product.
- Layouts are 280 × 280 mm. Check your machine's usable area, including clamping and framing space. Do not shrink the complete design to fit a smaller bed: that changes the joints.
- The pack does not include a native XCS project or universal speed/power presets. Assign engraving, scoring and cutting in your software and run material tests.
- Measure the actual wood thickness, confirm import scale and cut the supplied fit test before making one trial stall. Cut the remaining stalls only after that trial fits correctly.
Design and use notes
The files have been checked digitally for dimensions and geometry. A physical test cut and completed wooden prototype have not been made, so the download does not include a tested-fit guarantee or toy-safety certification. Product visuals are digital design previews; painted finishes are suggestions.
This is an adult fabrication project for family use with older children, suggested age 8+ with supervision. The age suggestion is not a safety certification. Keep loose offcuts and unfinished or damaged pieces away from children and pets; inspect, smooth and securely glue the finished structures before use. Lanterns are decorative silhouettes, not working lights. Do not add flames, electrical components, loose magnets or small decorative attachments.
