OPEN THE PASSPORT. FOLLOW THE COMPASS. COOK AROUND THE WORLD.

Quesbo’s Tasty Passport transforms family cooking into a colourful round-the-world adventure. Young chefs join the curious and cheerful Quesbo as he travels through 27 destinations, discovers 81 kid-friendly recipes and learns that food is about much more than ingredients—it is also about curiosity, patience, kindness, friendship, hospitality and sharing.

Every destination begins with an illustrated travel story introducing its food, flavours and traditions. Young cooks then prepare three approachable recipes:

• FIRST TASTE – a soup, starter, snack or small plate
• MAIN MEAL – a substantial family supper or shared dish
• SWEET FINISH – a dessert, bake or fruit-based treat

The journey includes an exciting variety of dishes, from Cheesy Arepas, Vegetable Mandu and Mini Pizza Margherita to Mild Chicken Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice, No-Bake Chocotorta and Chocolate Brigadeiros.

Each recipe is presented across two carefully organised pages. The first introduces the dish and includes preparation time, cooking time, servings, difficulty, allergens, equipment and ingredients. The second provides clear numbered cooking instructions together with Quesbo’s Swap, Quesbo’s Tip, From the Table and Taste and Tell activities.

Young cooks are encouraged to measure, mix, knead, shape, arrange, taste and explore. Clearly labelled “Little Hands Can” and “Grown-Up Job” boxes help families divide kitchen tasks responsibly. The recipes use metric measurements and ingredients generally available in the United Kingdom, with practical substitutions where possible.

At the end of every destination, an interactive Tasty Passport page allows young chefs to collect a golden word, remember what they learned, rate the recipes and record their cooking adventure. The book also includes:

• Quesbo’s Kitchen Safety Rules
• A guide to using the recipes
• Ingredient substitutions and allergy-care information
• Measurement and cooking-word guides
• A Global Friendship Feast planner
• A complete recipe index
• A Young Chef Certificate

The final lesson brings the whole journey together: the greatest recipe is not a single dish, but the way people are treated around the table.

Quesbo’s Tasty Passport is a thoughtful choice for family cooking, weekend activities, school-holiday projects, food-themed learning and gifts for curious young chefs. It encourages children to try unfamiliar flavours, ask respectful questions and discover how food can connect people across the world.
