Six chapters, twenty cards each

• Hallo, friends! — greetings and everyday phrases
• The little café — food and drink
• Forest friends — animals
• The colour workshop — colours and shapes
• Let’s explore — transport and travel objects
• Ready, set, go! — everyday action words

Three ways to learn

• Explore: see the German and English meaning together, follow the “Say it like this” pronunciation cue, play the animation and hear the word. Turn the card over for an example sentence with its translation and pronunciation cue.
• Mission: complete a short five-question challenge with encouraging hints and character reactions.
• Match: pair German words with their English meanings.

Return to words that need practice, earn six scrapbook stickers and choose from three animal-avatar profiles. Purchased-pack progress saves to the purchasing Quesbo account so you can continue on another supported device. Children do not need to enter their name or email.

Before you buy

This is an online browser learning pack. No physical product, printable PDF or app-store download is included. An internet connection and a current browser are required; a tablet or computer gives the cards more room. Try the free demo on your intended device first.

German pronunciation audio is included for all 120 words or phrases and all 120 example sentences. The included voice is synthetic German (Germany) speech; no installed German device voice is needed. Tap a speaker to play, replay or slow down the audio. English meanings are visible on the learning-card fronts. Every word or phrase and example sentence also has an easy-to-read pronunciation cue, following the printed LOS GEHT’S style. These cues are approximate reading help; listen to the audio for the German sounds. Sound and movement can be adjusted in the parent area. No microphone is required.
