French Speak Up! helps you turn the French you know into conversations you can practise. Hear your partner, try a reply aloud, then listen to an example and try again. Start with short greetings and build towards explaining ideas, sharing opinions and keeping a conversation going.

Choose your starting point

• First conversations: 10 supported conversations for beginners. Practise greetings, simple replies, likes, numbers, requests and meeting plans.
• Everyday confidence: 10 conversations for learners who know the basics. Order, ask for help, arrange plans, explain a simple problem and keep an exchange moving.
• Speak your mind: 10 conversations for learners ready for intermediate practice. Explain reasons, recount events, suggest alternatives and disagree politely.

What is included?

• 30 illustrated conversations, 90 speaking turns and 180 French partner prompts and example responses.
• Normal and slower audio playback, French text and optional English support.
• Sentence starters, speaking tips, clear role-play prompts and self-checks.
• A new speaking challenge after each conversation, so you can reuse what you have practised.
• 90 useful phrase entries, a saved-phrases notebook and a confidence passport.
• Three learner profiles with separate progress, including account-based saving after purchase.
• Optional recording and replay in supported browsers. Recordings stay temporarily on your device, are never uploaded by the app and are cleared when you leave the activity or delete them. Microphone permission is requested only when you choose to record.

You can complete every conversation by speaking aloud without recording. Progress records your practice and your own confidence checks; the app does not automatically assess your pronunciation. The stages describe activity difficulty, not a formal placement test or qualification. French audio uses a synthetic voice.

A companion to your French course

Use this alongside your vocabulary, grammar and listening practice. Start where you feel comfortable, use the support you need and repeat conversations as often as you like. Example replies are there to help; your own words can work too.

How access works

This is a digital browser app; nothing is posted. An internet connection and an up-to-date browser are required. After purchase, open the app and sign in with the same Quesbo customer account used at checkout. The three profiles share that purchase.

One payment, no recurring subscription. Your purchase includes at least 12 months of access from purchase, with continued access while Quesbo operates the app. If we retire the app, we will give at least 90 days' notice. If we cannot provide the minimum 12 months, we will offer a full refund.
